Why You Need To Protect The Exterior of your RV
The outside of your RV goes through a lot, it is always facing bad weather, the hot sun, and bad road conditions. Like metal, the paint on the outside of your vehicle will react with oxygen and start to break down. This is a chemically undeniable process that will eventually render the paint useless.

Lucky for you, some really smart chemists have outsmarted mother-nature's desire to return your paint job to the earth, and developed a special soap to help preserve it. Don't use the cleaners you have lying around the house, as they can be very harmful. But, don't hesitate to use any of the other automotive products such as wax for extra protectioon.

You should also look into getting mud flaps, because they go a long way to shield your exterior from all that road debris. The splash guards that look like brushes can also be very effective when used in conjunction with mud flaps. There are also rubber guards you can attach to the front of your trailer to protect from the road debris, and installing one is definitely an option for folks who use gravel roads frequently. It's amaxing how fast gravel can strip the paint right off, and do damage to the fiberglass or metal of the hull.
